JEE Main 2019 B.E./B.Tech was conducted on April 12 in the Forenoon slot (from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM) by the NTA (National Testing Agency). This was the first time NTA had conducted JEE Main for engineering admissions in India. The overall difficulty level was rated moderately easy. The questions paper carried a total of 90 questions. All the questions were in the form of MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions). Each MCQ carried 4 marks. Students were entitled to get 4 marks on attempting a right answer. 1 marks to be reduced for every incorrect answer.

- Most of the questions appeared in Mathematics and Chemistry were based on Formula and experiments
