DU SOL Admission 2021: As per the data released, Delhi University's School of Open Learning (DU SOL) has received over 1.91 lakh applications for its various distance learning programs for admission session 2021-2022.
As of now, nearly 1.21 lakh students have secured their admission seats at Delhi University, School of Open Learning. Out of the total registered students, about 75,000 applications have been received for the BA Program.
Following the official data shared by the university, out of a total of 1.91 lakh applications received, 1.21 lakh have already paid their fee and secured the admission seats. While the remaining students are still in the process of seeking admission.
Out of 1,27,095 students who have secured their seats in DU SOL Admission 2021, 57,454 applications have been received from female candidates, while 69,641 are from men candidates.
While comparing the data, the most in-demand DU SOL Courses for the 2021-2022 session is said to be the BA program with 75,606 applications. Following the BA Program, 21,072 students have secured their admission seats for the B.Com program.
As per the data, Delhi University, School of Open Learning has accepted 15,450 applications for Political Science (Honors), 10,204 for BCom (Honors), and 4,763 for BA (Honors) English course.
DU SOL UG Admissions 2021: How to Make Changes in Course and Subject?
Delhi University, SOL has also extended the dates for change in course and subject selection for registered students till December 31, 2021. Those who have registered for the 2021-2022 session can change their selection of courses on or before the given deadline, by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of Delhi University, School of Open Learning (DU SOL) at sol.du.ac.in.
Step 2: From the homepage, click on the “registered user” tab and log in by entering your details.
Step 3: On the next page, make the changes in your course or subject selection as required.
Step 4: Cross-check the details entered with care and click on submit to complete your admission process.
Earlier, the Delhi University, School of Open Learning has extended the last date to apply to DU SOL UG, PG Program 2021 till December 31, 2021. With the date extension, students can apply for various programs on the DU SOL website at sol.du.ac.in.
Referring to the admission, Uma Shankar Pandey, Officiating Principal for SOL said, "The SOL also follows the choice-based credit system like regular colleges. Students have the option of migrating to a regular college from the SOL and vice versa".
