DU OBE 2021: Delhi University has started the commencement of the DU Open Book Test 2021 Examination for all undergraduate and postgraduate students from December 01, 2021.
On Day 1 of Delhi University’s online open-book examination, a total of nearly 46,000 students appeared for the examination. As per the reports, the first day of the exam went smoothly without any major errors or technical issues.
As per the DU OBE Exam 2021 schedule, the first examination was held on December 01, 2021, for nearly 190 subjects. The examination was held for Bachelor of Management Studies, BA honors, Bachelor of Science among other students.

During the commencement of DU OBE Exam 2021 for English subjects, the university faced a few technical glitches. The issue was resolved after the university offered students extra time to submit their answer sheets.
In accordance with the data received, Delhi University received over 100 answer sheets for the exam through its official email address. While the rest were submitted through the official examination portal of DU OBE 2021.
While talking about the exam commencement, D S Rawat, Dean (Examinations), DU said, “Around 46,000 students appeared for the exam and the email submission of answer sheets was done by nearly 100 of them which is a very small number".
"The maximum number of email submissions were from Rajdhani College at 63 while the minimum email submissions were from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College at one" he added.
Earlier, on November 30, 2021, Delhi University has released the examination guidelines for DU Open Book Exam 2021 on its official website at du.ac.in. The guidelines were released to ensure the smooth commencement of the exam.
DU OBE Exam 2021 Guidelines strictly advised students to refrain from using any unfair means during the exam. Students are to be very careful while submitting the answer sheet.

"If submission (of scripts) on the portal gets delayed beyond one hour, students can use an additional one hour to upload the scripts on the OBE portal (that is the 5th hour), but in that case, students have to keep the documentary evidence (4-5 snapshots of the delay in uploading)," the guidelines read.
Additionally, students who are submitting their DU OBE Exam 2021 answer sheet through the official email are informed that the result evaluation for the answer sheet might take some time as they will be first sent for the verification process.
