DEI Admission 2022 Open for UG, PG, Diploma and PhD Programmes; Check Details Here

New Delhi: DEI is currently accepting applications for its UG, PG, Diploma and PhD programmes for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, dei.ac.in. 

The last date to submit the application form for UG and PG programmes is June 30, 2022. However, for certificate and modular courses, candidates can apply till August 10, 2022.

DEI offers courses in the field of Arts, Commerce, Education, Engineering, Science, and Social Science. The entrance test and a merit list based on the qualifying exam scores are used to determine admission to DEI. 

Students seeking admission to B.Tech and B.Arch programmes of DEI must provide a valid JEE Main and NATA score, respectively. The institute also holds its own entrance test (WAT), as well as an interview for admission to its various degrees.

DEI Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

• BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA: 10+2 from a recognized institute.
• B.Tech B.Com./BBA (Combined Degree with B.Tech): 10+2 from UP Board or equivalent with PCM with 60% in Maths. JEE Mains score desirable.
• B.Tech (Part-time) in Electrical Engineering: 3-year Diploma in any branch of Engineering.
• Bachelor of Architecture: 10+2 from UP Board or equivalent with 50% in PCM and also 50% in aggregate and NATA/Valid Rank in JEE Part II.
• B.Voc: 10+2 from UP Board or equivalent or 3-years Diploma in Engineering /Polytechnic.
• D.El.Ed: Candidates with 50% in 10+2.
• B.Ed: Graduate with 50%.
• M.Ed: B.Ed or equivalent with 50%.
• M.Com / MBA /M.A/ M.Sc: Graduate with 55%.
• M.Tech: B.Tech degree.
• PhD (Full-time/Part-time): Master's degree in relevant subject with 55% or equivalent. For Engineering- B.Tech or equivalent engineering degree with 75% or equivalent or more in GATE/NET UGC or CSIR and other exams conducted by the Department of Biotechnology/ ICAR/ RET Exam.
• PG Diploma: Graduate in any disciplines
• Diploma in Engineering: High school or equivalent with Science and Maths as main subjects with minimum second division or 10+2 with 50% marks.
• Diploma in Polytechnic: High school from UP Board or equivalent with Science and at least 50%.

DEI Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Firstly the applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam as per the requirement of the course.
• Students seeking admission to B.Tech, B.Arch and BHMS programmes must provide valid JEE Main, NATA and NEET scores, respectively.
• Selection is also done on the basis of academic merit, admission test and performance in the group discussion and personal interview round as per the requirement.

DEI Admission 2022: How to Apply?

• Visit the official application portal of DEI, at dei.ac.in.
• Register yourself after filling in the required details, such as name, mobile number, email id etc.
• Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.
• Pay the application fee of INR 270 for Professional Courses and INR 230 for Non-Professional Courses and submit the Application form. 
• Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
