CBSE Class 10, 12 Result 2021: Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has recently released the Dispute Redressal Policy for interested students. As per the policy release, the process for addressing the disputes will start from August 09, 2021. 

CBSE Class 10th and Class 12th candidates who wish to apply for the dispute in result release can now do so by submitting their online applications for the same on the official website of the board; cbse.gov.in on or before August 14, 2021. 

The CBSE Dispute Redressal Policy 2021 has been released after receiving several requests in regards to the tabulation of marks for class 10th and class 12th exam 2021.

Referring to the requests, the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE stated that disputes regarding the marks allotment for class 10th and class 12th results will now be addressed by the dispute redressal committee of the board. 

CBSE Class 10, 12 Exam 2021: Dispute Redressal Policy

The Central Board of Secondary Education has divided the dispute into various types, which include Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3. The various types details with the following issues: 

Type 1 Dispute: Type 1 Dispute will deal with the computation of marks by the resulting committee. In case of any errors in the same. dispute type 1 will take the necessary steps to rectify the issues as required. 

Under the type 1 dispute, the committee will evaluate the result of the students, and if any mistake is found, they will further contact the result and give a detailed reply on how the mistake happened. 

Type 2 Dispute: Under the Type 2 Dispute, the CBSE affiliated schools will be Regional Officers through School Request Submission Resolution, SRSS system representation will be marked by the concerned school. The link for the same will be available on CBSE's official website. 

To solve the errors that occur, the Regional Office will be responsible to make necessary updates in the result tabulation with strict confidentiality. 

Type 3 Dispute: Type 3 Dispute will handle the wrong computation of Uploading of results done by the resulting committee. The evaluation of the same will be done before students find the error. 

The resulting committee will include Deputy Commissioner KVS, Deputy Director, State Education Department, and others. After verifying the computation of the result, the result will be forwarded to the Regional Officer, and they will make the required changes if no error is found. 

Type 4 Dispute: Lastly, the Type 4 Dispute will deal with the dispute in the policy. Students who are not satisfied with the tabulation criteria released by the board on June 17, 2021, will be able to send applications against the same under this dispute.

With the cancellation of the CBSE Board 2021 Exams due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the result for class 10th and class 12th students was made based on the evaluation process released by the examination board. 

As per the CBSE's result evaluation criteria released, the marks for class 12th students were allotted based on marks secured in class 12th, 11th, and 10th examination with 40:30:30 weightage. 

Students of class 10th and 12th board who are not satisfied with their result release can now apply for the dispute of marks to the principal of their respected schools as per the below schedule:

Candidates who are not satisfied with their marks now have the option to raise grievances. To do so, students will have to send their applications for the same through SARS under dispute types (type 1, 2, and 3). 

After submitting the applications, the dispute committee of the Central Board of Secondary Education will evaluate the marks of the students in accordance with the evaluation criteria. 

The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE’s Dispute Committee will include retired principals and officers with the post of Deputy Secretary and Joint Secretary.

Further, the recommendations will be forwarded to the Comptroller of Examination, and a reply will be sent to the concerned schools regarding the same. For more details, students are advised to visit the official website of the board, at cbse.gov.in.
