CBSE Board Exam 2021: Class 12th Chemistry marking scheme and sample papers have been released at the official website: cbseacademic.in.
This step by CBSE Board for 12th exam will help encourage students to prepare well for the exams, creating a profound strategy beforehand.
The board has issued detailed marking schemes and sample papers which may act as prototypes for question papers for the forthcoming exams. Apart from Chemistry, it has also released the markings schemes of other subjects as well.
As of now, CBSE has not yet released CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 date sheets. Board Secretary, Anurag Tripathi confirmed that board exams will certainly be held in 2021.
Meanwhile, media reports regarding practical exam dates were doing the rounds which the Board has completely ruled out. At a press meet, an official from the CBSE Board confirmed that the board has not announced any specific dates regarding Class 10 and Class 12 CBSE Board Exams 2021.
CBSE Board Exam 2021: Sample Paper, Marking Scheme
As per the revised marking scheme, CBSE Class 12 exam paper for Chemistry will have a total of 33 questions for 70 marks paper. The question paper is divided into four sections: A, B, C, and D.

The A section will have only 16 objective type questions. Questions numbered 1 and 2 will be passage-based carrying 4 marks each. On the other hand, questions numbered 3-16 will carry 1 mark each. For section B, there will be 9 questions from numbered 17-25 that will carry 2 marks. These will be short answer type questions.
In section C, there will be 5 questions from numbers 26-30. These short answer questions will be allotted 3 marks each. Lastly, section D will have 3 long-answer type questions from numbers 31-33 carrying 5 marks each.
