The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has successfully concluded the Class 12 Biology Term 1 2021-22 examination, on December 18, 2021 in various exam centres.
According to the students who appeared for the CBSE Class 12 Biology Term 1, 2021-22 exam, the difficulty level of the paper was slightly difficult and the questions were directly taken from the NCERT books.
The duration of the CBSE Class 12th Biology exam was 90 minutes. Students were given 20 minutes to go through the CBSE 12th biology question paper.
Further, the CBSE experts have reviewed the CBSE Class 12 Biology paper and shared the answer key for the students to evaluate their probable scores. The students must note that the released answer key is just for the purpose of reference.
The Class 12 CBSE biology question paper was divided into three sections A, B and C with a total of 60 questions. Students were required to attempt a maximum of 50 questions. The biology question paper was objective in nature with no provision for negative marking.

CBSE Class 12 Biology Exam 2021: Students' Reactions
The Class 12 students were delighted with the CBSE biology question paper. Some of them highlighted that most of the questions were taken from NCERT books, which made it easier for them to solve the multiple choice questions effortlessly.
All the sections in the question paper were mandatory, and students had an internal choice or the option to solve a few Biology MCQs, out of the total questions given.
One of the class 12 students who sat for the biology exam today said that practising NCERT paper helped to solve the questions easily.
Another student said that most of the questions were extremely easy, while some of them were challenging. However, the overall level of the paper was good.

CBSE Class 12 Biology Exam 2021: Question Paper Review
After reviewing the CBSE Biology paper, the CBSE subject experts said that the difficulty level of the paper was easy and balanced.
One of the teachers said that the Biology question paper was moderate and question number 52 and 53 were misleading if the students didn't understand the exact meaning of the question and that it should be closed as it will lead to confusion.
According to the CBSE experts review on the CBSE Class 12 Biology paper, the students might answer between 25 and 30 questions correctly out of the total 40 questions required to be attempted.
