CBSE Board Exam 2022 (Term 1) Begins from Nov 30; Check Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme, Sample Paper Direct Links Here


CBSE Board Exam 2022 (Term 1) has begun for Class 10th from today, November 30 while Class 12 exams will commence from tomorrow onwards. Hence, students appearing for term-1 exams can check CBSE Exam Pattern 2021 and download Sample Papers from links provided below.

Students taking the CBSE Class 10 Term 1 Exam 2021 are requested to download their admit card for the same and check exam guidelines released on the board's official website at cbse.nic.in.

Meanwhile, about 15 lakh candidates are expected to appear for CBSE Class 12th Examination 2021 from December 01, 2021. The exam will be held till December 22, 2021, for all registered students. 

As per the CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2022 Schedule, the first examination will be held for Sociology students on December 01, 201, followed by English on December 03, 2021

CBSE Class 10th Board Exam 2022: Exam Pattern

  • CBSE Class 10th Exam 2021 Term 1 question paper will include Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), in which students will have to mark the right answer from the options available. 
  • The exam paper will also include case-based MCQs and MCQs on the assertion-reasoning type to test the reasoning ability of students. 
  • No Question will come from out of the syllabus, hence students only have to cover 50% of their syllabus as mentioned in the academic syllabus. 
  • CBSE Class 10th Exam 2021 will be held for a duration of 90 minutes for all students, in which the first 15-20 minutes will be given to students to read the question paper. 
  • Students are advised to read the question paper with care before writing the answers. 
  • The question paper will include a total of 60 questions. Students have to fill in the answers on the same OMR sheet.
  • Students are strictly advised to use only blue & black ballpoint pens to fill the OMR sheet. 
  • In order to pass the exam, students have to secure a minimum of 33 percent marks in the written examination.

Earlier, the CBSE has released the guidelines for filling the OMR sheet correctly for all students on its official website. Students are advised to go through the guidelines in detail to avoid any errors or mistakes during the exam commencement.

CBSE Class 12th Board Exam 2022: Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme

As per the CBSE 12th Board Exam 2022 Exam Pattern release, the examination for class 12th students will be held in offline mode across various exam centers. The exam will include multiple-choice questions along with application-based questions.

In order to pass the examination, students will have to score a minimum of 33% marks out of 100 in the written examination. Students who secure less than the required marks will be declared as “failed” in the respective subject.
