CBSE students of Class 10 &12 and teachers were unclear after receiving a news report stating that only those who would clear the CBSE pre-board exams will be issued the admit card to appear for the CBSE Board exams 2021. This fake news has been spread on social media recently.
The fake article, which got viral on Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp, claims that the CBSE Pre-Board exams would take place twice and students should pass in both in order to receive the admit card for final CBSE board exams.
The Press Information Bureau (PIB) announced the article as fake and informed it as baseless. A tweet by PIB Fact Check mentioned, “This claim is false. CBSE has not made any such announcement.”
Earlier, the Union Education Minister declared that the CBSE board exams for Class 10 and Class 12 will begin on May 4, 2021, and end by June 10, 2021, while the CBSE Results 2021 will be announced by July 15, 2021.

CBSE Schools will be permitted to conduct the practical project/internal assessment for classes 10 and 12 from March 1, 2021, till the last date of conduct of theory exams.
The CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams would be held in offline mode or paper-pen mode. Officials from the CBSE board have also disclosed that there is no proposal to hold online exams this year.
