Calicut University PGCAP 2022 : Trial Allotment List Released

New Delhi: Calicut University has released the Trial Allotment List for admission to PG courses through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2022. Candidates can apply online through the official website uoc.ac.in 

Calicut University is inviting applications for PG programmes strictly under the CAP system. The university offers MA , MSc , MCom, and MVoc, among others as the PG degrees. Applications are being invited for the affiliated colleges and the university centres. 

Candidates who have not received their final year Bachelor’s mark sheet or certificate can also register for the PG courses at Calicut University. However, they should fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria and produce the same at the time of admission. 

Admission to Calicut University for PG programmes began on July 25, 2022. Candidates could apply online through the CAP on the official website till August 11, 2022.

Allotment of seats will take place through the Centralised Allotment. Candidates who have not registered through CAP will not be permitted to proceed with the further admission process.

Calicut University PGCAP 2022 Registration: Eligibility Criteria, Selection Process  

Candidates must have qualified a Bachelor’s degree in the specific discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks from a recognised university. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible for relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass in the qualifying examination.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their merit in academic qualifications. During weightage calculation (for programmes in which weightage is not calculated on the Selection Index Score - SIS value), the corresponding percentage value of subject weightage (if any) in 1000, will be added to the Selection Index Score (SIS) along with other weightage's to obtain Final Index Score (FIS).

Calicut University PGCAP 2022 Registration: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of Calicut University at uoc.ac.in

Step 2: Register yourself by choosing the particular course of choice after filling in the required details, such as Mobile Number, Email Id etc. by visiting the Google Form link provided.  

Step 3: Now, log in with your registration credentials and fill in all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of 420 INR and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a printout of the form for all future needs.
