Krishna Institute of Science Aid Commerce (KISC) is a subsidiary of the KES Group, the experts in the field of education. Renowned educationist, Sir (Dr.) Y. R. Katre has taken over as Director in (KISC). To note, Dr. Katre has 43 years of experience in the field of higher education. With a hundred national and international research papers to his credit, he holds a Ph.D (Chemistry) degree after completing his B.Sc and M.Sc in the same field of study.

Several national and international papers have been published by Katre Sir through seminars and conferences on his research topics in Florida, Chicago and Science Congress Malaysia. 

Earlier, he was the Principal of Kalyan P.G. College Bhilai. During his principalship at the Durg Bhilai College, he made a mark among the students and their parents as a well-known teacher of Chemistry and an efficient administrator. Till date, Dr. Y.R. Katre has awarded eight scholars with Ph.D under his able guidance.

Along with this, he has also given his efficient guidance to lakhs of B.Sc, M.Sc and PMT / PET exam aspirants. As a fact, now several science and commerce students of Durg-Bhilai zone will definitely benefit from his exemplary instructions through Krishna Institute of Science Aid Commerce (KISC).

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Institution Shri Anand Kumar Tripathi welcomed Dr. YR Katre Sir to the institution and assured that the institute will attain higher status under the guidance of Katre Sir (KISC). Principal Dr. Ajay Kumar Tiwari also praised the academic work of Katre Sir. 

At the event, KEC Managing Director Mr. Vijay Maral asserted that with Dr. Katre’s joining the institution will be able to fulfil the objective of all round development of all its students.
