He has done Bachelor's in Commerce and has Diploma in Hospitality and Horticulture from Punjab Technical University and Uttarakhand Open University. He is a passionate Academician, Entrepreneur, Philanthropist and Agriculturalist with 20+ years of experience in Teaching and Administrative sectors. He has been associated with many eminent institutes and has worked with Fusion Institute of Hotel Management, Dehradun as Managing Director since 2007, Himalayan Institute for Motivating Agro-Sustainability as Managing Director since 2020, Elite IAS Academy, New Delhi as Managing Director since 2017. He has great knowledge of the hospitality industry with 3+ years of Hospitality Industry experience. Apart from this, he has executed various Skill Development Programs of Uttarakhand Government and Ministry of Tourism. He has received many awards for his contribution in the field of education by Govt of Uttarakhand and his active contribution in the domain of Education has been recognized by the Government of Uttarakhand, Government of India and other premier educational institutions of the country and state.

What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

As an educator, providing a quality education to my students has been my priority from day 1. And I firmly believe that my passion for up-skilling myself to match the requirements of a wonderfully and fast growing world is the key to my success and the biggest reason behind my so long association with the education sector. success and survival of any person. In addition to this, my own experience while learning from my teachers has given me the zeal and inspiration to stay connected to the education sector and create a world where the youth of our country are educated enough to be able to contribute to the growth of the country and their career. 

Being the Owner of the institute, how would you describe your leadership style?

"Leadership for me is all about setting clear vision for shared goals and taking right decisions at right time"

I firmly believe that a true leader is always visionary and knows how to achieve the desired goals with available resources and people. In addition to this, the ability to foresee and have clear vision for a goal and decision making are other factors that I believe a leader needs to possess. Also the instincts to make a decision on the basis of multiple calculations and risk analysis is what makes a person a leader and the courage to take such decisions come from experience one attains during the hard work of one’s initial years and the study period. And being the mentor of my students, I work dedicatedly to make students industry and society ready by inculcating a sense of responsibility and ownership in them for their actions.

Being the Owner of the Fusion Institute of Hotel Management, the scope of my roles and responsibilities is very vast and dynamic in nature. And I am responsible for maintaining the best industry and educational standards in the courses which we offer to students. Apart from this, ensuring a safe learning and teaching space for my students and staff, maintaining decorum and disciplined environment in college and mentoring students whenever they get stuck somewhere also comes under the scope of my responsibilities.

Any suggestions which you would like to give to the current youth and aspiring students?

"Don't search for shortcut options to succeed and stay physically and mentally strong and fit"

I would like to advise my students to not search for shortcut options to achieve their life goals, because our young and upcoming students are totally obsessed with the shortcut options and oftenly equate it with smart work to succeed in their life. Have the courage to dream big and work hard to develop your skills and knowledge accordingly. You will face challenges in every path of your journey but end goals are super satisfactory. Also focus on your physical and mental health, because a healthy body and a positive mind is very essential to achieve desired goals in life.

The greatest strengths of our college is the calm and positive learning environment and opportunities that we provide to our students.
