Mr. Birendra Goswami is currently serving as the Director at EIMAGE College, Patna. Having teaching experience of over 10 years, Mr. Goswami has worked on different government projects under PMKY, NSDC and Maha Vikas Nigam, etc. Also, he has attended various seminars, workshops and conferences in his lifelong career. He is a great leader and philanthropist working for the upliftment of the education sector in our country.

What is your philosophy of leadership?

“Proactive participation and taking responsibility”

For me leadership is about taking everyone forward, and listening to their problems and taking concrete action to resolve them immediately. Being at the service of your students and colleagues, being open to constructive feedback and learning from even those who are under you on the seniority ladder while accepting your mistakes gracefully are the most important qualities of a true leader who is genuinely respected and loved by all.

What would you like people to know about your college they may not know?

“Financial amenities and good facilities”

Our objective is to serve the students from the underprivileged communities. We also offer free tuition for weak students. We have options available to submit the fees in installments and further we take special care for those who have financial issues. Moreover, students who attend regularly are on the top of the list of the best performing students. We have a good infrastructure with the best quality of faculties which further add on to this.

How does the curriculum of EIMAGE ensure the best practice of the industry?

“Holistic development through practical exposure”

We are focused on overall development along with the course syllabus of the students. We emphasize more on other skills, which eventually help the students when they sit for the company placement. Moreover, we offer training and internships in various industries and organize seminars, workshops and conferences for the practical learning of students on different disciplines of their courses. 

What do you think your roles and responsibilities towards the students are?

“Guiding and evaluating their growth on a daily basis”

My biggest responsibility is to ensure the best holistic development and growth to our students. I take a role in regular monitoring, educating and counseling them for the same. I strive to implement every step taken for the betterment of the student in a fair and transparent manner.

What do you think should be the college’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“Enhancing education quality and student population”

All the steps that we are taking in the education sector presently, need more improvement over time. We are looking forward to applying more innovative and productive means to achieve quality education and high student preference. Also to increase the seats and number of students, and add-on few courses are on pilpline. 

How has your vision for EIMAGE College evolved over the time?

“Educating ideas to quality and equality”

Vision is an endless thing. It should never end, rather we should continue to broaden our vision in various aspects of the sector. In the beginning, I thought about opening the college in order to implement my ideas freely without any interference. Now the vision is to take it forward and help in nurturing the career of as many students as I can, especially those coming from poor backgrounds.
