Nibha Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences

Mr. Jahangir is the Principal at the Nibha Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He draws his inspiration from Jamia Hamdard, where he was himself a student of pharmaceutical sciences. At Nibha Institute, he is on a journey to mentor young minds so that they achieve the greatest heights in every aspect of their life.

What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

“Infusing practicality in everyday life”

I am a practical person. I have a 3-Ds style of working i.e. Dedication, Devotion, and Determination. For me, disciplined hard work can help you achieve any goal. I want to impart these characters to my students.

How do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your school?

“Making use of my vision and ability”

Nibha Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a young college. Most of the staff members are below 35 years of age. Everyone here is in the learning mode. Firstly, we determine what are our short term and long-term goals. I share my work experience with my colleagues and as a mentor, I motivate and inspire them to understand the importance of teamwork.

In your experience, what can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute/ university/ school?

“Emphasize more on developing experimental and research skills“

This is what exactly Nibha Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences is working on. Colleges of foreign countries mostly educate their students with experimental and research-based knowledge. The very reason their young force is far better than us in research and development programs.

“For students from an economically week background, Nibha Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences provides Bihar Student Credit Card Yojna (Govt. of Bihar) to ease off financial burden on them” In this student credit card yojana, Govt. of Bihar bears the financial burden of taking higher education for students from the state of Bihar”

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the University and the students are?

“Keeping the members together to get the best outcomes”

The principal is the leader of the college and it is his responsibility to effectively manage and supervise his students as well as teachers. A principal provides leadership, direction, and coordination within the college. I intend on establishing a harmonious relationship between the staff and students so that they work together for an overall betterment.

What do you think should be the University’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“Having a brand value based on the quality of education”

The topmost priority of the Nibha Institute of Pharmaceutical Science is to build an organization that provides quality pharmaceutical education to its students. We want to create ourselves as a brand in this sector.

What was your vision for the university? Has it evolved over time, and how far along in implementing that vision are you?

“Emerging an a University”

I have been with the Nibha Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences since its foundation day. I have seen this college change every day and in every term. However, we are still a young college and we have plans of constituting it as a university in the coming ten years which is being followed and strictly implemented by all of our staff members.

How do you tend to establish a healthy relation and environment in your institute/ university?

“Make the members feel important and included”

I am a good listener. So, ideas and innovations are welcomed by even a junior employee in our institute. I always work in a way that each working individual is involved in fulfilling any task so that he/she feels her importance in our institutional family.
