What is your experience in the education industry?

“Direct the short and long term program for students”

I have actively mentored aspiring designers and stylists to get hands-on training at the academy. Moreover, I can say that TTA has been a significant vehicle to overcome the massive gap in the education sector. Times & Trends Academy Deccan is a vocational and professional training academy that offers short and long-term programs. It is enlisted as one of the top fashion and interior designing colleges in Pune. What are the challenges you faced as director of TTA?

“Handling of students and coordination of staff”

The expectations and aspirations of every student are different. Some students are concerned about notes. On the other hand, many of them are concerned about job opportunities. Some pupils want to start their own business. Handling so many students is a difficult task. However, with prompt cooperation from the staff and team, student concerns are duly addressed.


How do you establish a relationship with the students and director?

“By understanding the vision and aspirations of students”

Today’s generation is the future of the world. I ask students about their aspirations, understand their vision, and offer a solution to any of their concerns. Me and my team try our best to understand the vision and aspirations of students. Moreover, I believe that every problem has a solution. Hence, every student is approached with the same attitude.

How do you plan to take the campus to greater heights?

“Provide career opportunities and great learning experience for students”

The education scenario today is different from the time TTA was established. Students and their parents are willing to explore creative career opportunities which was not the case earlier. Hence, TTA comes up with courses that prove to be value for money. Thus, it is a great learning experience for students. To take the learning curve ahead, TTA offers three categories of courses which include Technician, Managerial, and Entrepreneurial. The three categories deal with different aspects in a student’s career. Technician courses focus on technical skills to assist students for a job. Managerial courses deal with leadership skills for top management positions. Entrepreneurial courses focus on guiding students to become their bosses. We plan to scale up in the online domain where students will be able to learn anytime.


How do you create a student-centric environment in TTA?

“Industry updated academics, quality education, placements, infrastructure and development for candidates”

I believe that the strength of TTA is in creating a student-centric environment on the campus. The first step is to provide industry-updated Academics. The professional team of faculty teaches about the latest trends in the market and guides students on the same. The second is quality educationTTA intends to bridge a massive gap in the education system with competent, and hands-on training methods. Moreover, Placements is one of the major concerns of students. The campus offers extensive placement assistance to students. The infrastructure in the college is equipped with an extensive library, computer labs, practical rooms for interior and fashion designing. The team at TTA focuses on essential life skills which include time management, stress management, social skills, life skills along with career skills. 


How do you integrate value-based education with the curriculum?

“Experiment with several educational models and focus on the skills of pupils”

With extensive experience of nearly two decades, TTA has experimented with different education models and continuously innovates them to bridge the massive gap in the education system. Moreover, we have developed course prototypes for all programs which are followed by all the franchises. The team at TTA focuses on essential life skills which include communication skills, negotiation skills, time management, stress management, and social skills. This approach helps students to learn values and handle challenges in life.


How do you encourage an ideal school environment culture?

“Address the concerns of students and put their knowledge to the test”

A student can learn and put their knowledge to the test in an ideal education environment. Moreover, a student must be able to raise their concerns. It assists to discuss doubts with their mentors and management members. We practice this already. Students approach us without any hesitation. Their issues are acknowledged promptly.


How do you look at students' growth through placements in TTA?

“Update students with placement vacancies and provide internships for students”

TTA is doing the needful for the professional growth of a student. We update students with available relevant vacancies by linking them with company networks. Additionally, we offer internship, placement opportunities and interview drives every month. We plan to continue doing the same. We are continuously expanding our network for the benefit of students at large.


What goals are in your mind for the institution in upcoming years?

“To establish a premium design institute and collaborate with industry leaders”

Dynamic changes are quite evident in many sectors in the world. TTA is adaptable and makes changes in its systems occasionally. We plan to establish a premium design institute in the country and expand internationally in the upcoming years. Moreover, we are strategically taking steps and collaborating with industry exponents.

“Keep moving forward irrespective of difficulties”

Students are the creators of their life and the future. Where there is a will, there is always a way. Taking one step at a time benefits in the long run. Hence, keep moving forward. Talk about what bothers you. I’d like to say that we are happy to guide students to overcome their challenges.
