How do you establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?

"By ensuring an ambiance of open communication with everyone via technical and cultural events"

We use the approach of active communication to establish healthy relations with our students and faculties. As a result, we organize regular meetings with students and their parents to understand their expectations from us. Next, we have a very wide range of events and activities planned throughout the year which makes our students very familiar and comfortable with us. Conferences, seminars, and faculty development programs are some other events that are arranged so that each faculty can enhance their skills and also learn from their colleagues.

How do you bring in a practical and industry-oriented approach towards subjects?

"We conduct workshops, certification courses and assign research assignments to students"

We use a very unique system to enhance the practical knowledge of our students for any particular subject. While teaching our students, we use real-time case studies as examples to strengthen their concepts and because most of our faculties have strong industry backgrounds, so latest industry happenings and expectations have become a part of daily discussion in classrooms. We also have a special program through which we assign research-based assignments to our students on business models, USPs, SWOT and Financial topics of various companies and this program is so vibrant and humorous that not only participating students but the audience also enjoys and learns from it a lot. "By taking inputs from industry experts and proposing university to introduce new programs"

Our college does follow the curriculum prescribed by the University in a very effective manner by dividing the time into syllabus completion, revision and doubt clearing sessions. And we have a very special syllabus known as the “Super Specialization Programme”, which is designed to add value to our university curriculum. It includes topics like cryptocurrencies, fintech, metaverse, AI and machine learning, and emerging marketing styles that are very relevant to the real world but are not included in the university syllabus from the domains of finance, marketing, HRM, IT, personality and leadership development. Finally, we take inputs from representatives of the industry and update the curriculum accordingly in line with the current demands of the industry.

What are your views on the placements and higher education of students from your department?

"Our students are placed in reputed organizations and few of them are studying abroad"

The students of our college are performing very well in both the areas by securing a good job in reputed organizations and admission to top management colleges in the country and even in foreign. We provide free coaching to our students for CAT and other management entrance exams. We also try that every student gets at least 2-3 internships during their graduation to make them aware of the corporate world. We feel very much proud when our students succeed because all this is ultimately a result of our hard work.

How do you prepare your students to cope with this competitive world?

"We start involving them in different competitions right from the first year of college"

To remove the fear of things like public interaction and make our students confident enough to face any situation in the outside world, we involve them in different competitions that we organize on a frequent basis. They are encouraged to take part in activities like class presentations and also to become a part of college sports, cultural and technical teams and students council.

All these clubs organize competitions and workshops on inter and intra-college levels. We also have a management fest named “Innovision” which I consider to be one of the best management fests in Central India. The main motive behind all this is to make our students learn how to enjoy every moment of life.
