What are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

My responsibility is to cater the needs of students and give information”

The job and responsibilities of a lecturer and HOD in an institute are intently attached to the working of the Higher Education System or the partnered University. Faculty members are relied upon to refresh themselves through training, formative projects in the field of education with the goal that their ability and information base remaining parts refreshed.

How do you tend to establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?

"Communication is the cornerstone to a happy relationship"

We keep our minds open to new ideas and offer assistance to our students. We value the efforts of students and staff, and we occasionally correct them on things they are doing improperly in positive ways. We also encourage them to participate in class and university activities, and we assist them in resolving personal issues if they discuss them.

What is your approach to teaching students?

"We use an effective feedback system and several assessment methods for slow learners"

In our institute, students came from convent schools as well as from Public Schools. Hence, we experience students of different expertise; few of them require extra attention. In the department, we use a variety of methodologies and interventions, such as remedial seminars, collaborative learning through group assignments, an effective feedback system, and several assessment methods for slow learners.

When you came to college, what was your vision and how are you trying to achieve the same?

"We constantly try to keep ourselves updated with the changes in the curriculum"

When I joined the department, I witnessed a number of changes then there was a 2 year program immediately converted to a 3 year program and after 2010 onwards the semester system was introduced in the universities.

What valuable advice would you like to give to students to have a prosperous career ahead?

"My advice is to maintain a healthy balance in your personal life while pursuing your interest with zeal"

Students must focus on developing their soft skills apart from their subject knowledge to prepare themselves for placements. Students in any area should pursue opportunities and consider participating in a different program to improve their skills. Always stay focused and maintain your abilities up to date. Strive for greatness while remaining motivated, expanding your network, and aggressively seeking possibilities.
