What is your philosophy of leadership?

“Efficiently using a strong set of principles for achieving the mission by following the vision”

A strong leadership philosophy is a key to successfully running a team, organization, or business. When your leadership style is rooted in a strong set of values and principles, you will remain committed to your goals, and you will be more likely to motivate and inspire your employees regularly. I believe leadership policy or a leader should always throw light on the path of their followers and show the right direction and help them grow in their personal and professional career to become a better person. I believe that the growth of Leader always depends on the success of their followers. I always believe leadership is not just a position or a status of a person; it is the responsibility of the person to take their people onto the ladder of success.

What was your vision for college from the start and how are you implementing it?

“Providing industries with potential and professional pharmacists”

My journey with P. RAMI REDDY MEMORIAL COLLEGE OF PHARMACY started in 1997 intending to serve the healthcare industry and to support the industry with potential and professional pharmacists. The vision was to create competent pharmacy professionals to positively impact the healthcare of society. As every coin has 2 sides my journey has many hurdles and successes but it's always about the way you look at things and the positivity in your thinking. And today with all the success, we have about 800 students studying in all our institutes put together.

How do you strategize key plans for the marketing and administration of your school?

“Promoting the College online as well as an offline platform”

I strategize the key plans in the following ways:

  • Improving marketplace position by generating branding, messaging, and creating focused publications to promote signature programs and key components of academy life
  • Redesign the website to better serve the needs of our audience and allow for greater mobile and compatibility
  • Increasing online user experience
  • Introducing Summer programs
  • Reconnect with alumni
  • Communicate through social media

What are some plans that you’re currently designing for students?

“Providing Students with various knowledgeable webinars”

We are always focused on sharing the knowledge to the best of our abilities. We think this knowledge transformation should not have any barrier which could stop this process. Due to the current situation of the pandemic in keeping with our aim to share the knowledge, we are planning to conduct various webinars.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the students are?

“To enforce the policies framed and laid down by the government”

The main role is to enforce the policies framed and laid down by the governing body for the day to date working of the institution. The Secretary is responsible for ensuring that accurate minutes of meetings are taken and approved. Implementation of decisions. The Secretary is responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring that the records are made available when required by authorized persons. I am responsible for assessing & selecting one of the best-qualified faculty. I am accountable to the Board and the general members of the organization

What do you see as your College’s greatest strengths?

“Placement is the biggest strength of my college”

Our biggest strength is the permanent faculty we have with us. It is always better when there is a proper relationship between the student and a teacher and our permanent faculty are the best to increase the efficiency of learning to a student. As an old college, we have the privilege of brand recollection. We provide top facilities with nice infrastructure. As we are located in the City limit, it is always easy for the students to travel and get the facilities for stay.

How do you make the curriculum industry-oriented?

“Providing students with industrial visits to gain practical experience”

In today’s educational system, the participation of industries in curriculum design and delivery at institutions is very much essential to prepare the students for employment. This will bridge the gap between the industry and institutions and will enable the students to become industry-ready. This will also reduce the time, effort and resources spent on the students at industries before they will take up the real projects. The industry will design the course as per its requirement and deliver the same in the partnering institutes through their trainers. The students need to write the final examination and those qualified will be absorbed in those industries.

How could your college be more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

“Providing Students with uniformity in the fee structure”

We are happy to welcome students of different races but we strive to maintain uniformity from our side. So as of now, we are maintaining uniformity in the fee structure. But we have a free seat in every batch to welcome and encourage the poor. Every year 1 free seat to poor students.

What do you think should be the college’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“To get accreditation from the NAAC and NBA”

The top priority over the next 10 years for our college is to get accreditation from NAAC and NBA. So that we will be able to assure that we have all the required facilities for the students to learn. Improving the infrastructure to the next level for the welfare of students and to provide better learning environments. We are very proud to say that we are the First Institution in the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. Our thoughts and acts for the betterment of society which could be bought by an educational institution came true today.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

“Students should focus on the changing demands of the industries and adjust themselves according to it”

I believe the young generation is smarter, wiser, and efficient. But I advise them to work hard and always keep goals to follow a track towards success and achieve them at the end of the day.
