CGC Jhanjeri Celebrates Placements Day

6^th February 2018, Jhanjeri: With a view to felicitate the students going to pass out in 2018, having been placed in MNCs & other leading companies much before their passing out, Chandigarh Group of Colleges Jhanjeri celebrated Placements Day. The function was held in the newly built world class auditorium of the college. More than 600 students from 1^st year to final year classes attended the celebrations.

Speaking on the occasion, S.Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC advised the students to attend all their classes including Pre Placement Training classes seriously and sincerely so that not even a single student has any backlog. He appealed to the students to work in their respective companies with honesty, sincerity and dedication so that the name of CGC remains high and these companies keep on recruiting CGC students in future also.

Dr. G.D.Bansal, Director General CGC threw some light on the grim placement scenario of the country. He said that CGC is the first college to run a full-fledged Placement Office in Delhi which keeps in touch with top ranking HR personnel of various companies throughout the year & fixes dates for their drives in our companies from time to time. He added that to ensure high success rate of the students in these drives, the college gives a 360-degree Pre Placement Training to its students right from third semester till the day of their placement. Dr. Bansal assured the entire gathering that every student who attends all the classes must get placed before he passes out.
