How did you train your faculty members to deliver courses to students in the best possible way?

Although all our faculty members are highly qualified and experienced in their respective areas, with changing technologies and industry demands they also need to up-skill them so that students can get the best knowledge. And to upgrade their knowledge, our faculty members attend various kinds of training, faculty development programs and also do global certification from reputed learning platforms. 


How do you link your University courses and industry demands?

"By making curriculum industry oriented, offering internships to students and organizing workshops and Hackathons"

For the purpose of making our courses more industry oriented, we explain each subject thoroughly and in depth to our students with the support of certified and trained faculty members so that students can understand both the theoretical as well as practical concepts in a better way. Also we provide internships to our students in reputed industries and students receive hands-on experience with cloud, cyber security, AI/ML, full stack development subjects by working on real time projects. In addition to this, industry connect sessions in collaboration with industry people, industrial visits, Hackathons, boot camps and workshops are organized by our college on a regular basis. 


What challenges have you faced while inculcating new programs in your curriculum?

"Preparing faculties in latest technologies and developing industry oriented curriculum were major issues"

The main challenge for us when we were introducing the B. Tech (CSE) course new specializations in curriculum were to train our faculty members in the technologies like AI/Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing so that they can provide best knowledge to our students. Another hurdle for us was to make the syllabus of these specializations as industry oriented. But over time we have overcome both these challenges by providing training to our faculty members in collaboration with industry experts and designing curriculum with help of IT leaders. 


On what kinds of projects your students are currently working on under their respective courses?

"Our students are working on industrial and research based projects using AI, Cloud Computing and DS"

Our students are working on a wide variety of real time field-based and industry oriented projects and research projects and many of those projects are based on latest technologies like Data Science, AWS Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Internet of Things and Web/Android/IoS etc.
