What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

"Being in the education sector, I get amazing opportunities to inculcate best skills and values in youths"

In my opinion, for any country's success and growth, an educated workforce is very essential, hence we should work to provide the best possible education to young minds and students of our society so that they can think correctly, develop an open and positive mindset, helping attitude and be more self-reliant. And the main aim behind this approach is to strengthen students' thinking capabilities as there are many students who go to foreign countries to pursue higher education and have a hard time adjusting in their culture. And being in the education sector gives me perfect opportunities to experience all this in person and teaching students to be open-minded, self-reliant and economically independent gives me immense happiness and satisfaction which is totally unreplaceable. So I believe all these factors together have helped me to stay associated with the education sector for so long.

Being the Academic Incharge of IITM, what is your philosophy of leadership?

"Leadership is all about adjusting your working approach as per situation and promoting democratic work culture"

Leadership I believe is an important management skill which helps an individual or a business to maximize efficiency and achieve goals. And for me a true leader is the one who knows how to use available resources and people skills and how to regulate and control the behavior and performance of team members in the perfect possible way to accomplish the shared objectives. Also, a person may adopt an autocratic style of leading people in one situation and democratic style of working in another situation. Lastly, I like an authoritative, coercive, charismatic, democratic and innovative way of working with my team.

How is your institution more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

"We provide equal learning opportunities to each student and scholarships to needy one"

We firmly believe that Education should be made available to all irrespective of their caste, creed and gender and people can stand out equal to people of other caste and creeds only by being educated. So we never discriminate among our students due to any reason and provide them equal learning opportunities so that they can defeat all barriers which come in their way. Apart from this, we provide scholarships to economically backward students so that nothing can stop them from achieving their goals and making a good life for themselves.

What do you think should be the college’s top priority over the next 10 years and what are the greatest strengths of your college?
