What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

“I firmly believe in the ideology that a leader must have a vision to guide others”

A leader should possess strong communication skills to direct the team. A leader must provide fair opportunities for others to allow growth and development. It is my responsibility to assist them in achieving their individual success. I always try to set a good example for my students, my colleagues, my clients, my family and my friends. I am always open to learning. I strive to allow each person in my team to showcase his/her unique abilities and skills.

What are the changes noticed by you in the education sector in the past few years?

“There has been a massive turnaround in terms of education over past few years”

There has been a drastic change in the education field over the past few years. It has seen drastic development in terms of delivery and quality of learning and teaching. It is due to increased investment of multi-faceted institutes all over the country. One big revolution is the advent of online education. Additionally, distance learning and education has boomed up and has witnessed major transformations where people are opting for distance education.

“My vision is to create a renown B-school in the country. The aim is to uplift the neighbourhood and simultaneously produce human resources for the country”

With the competition so high, how do you guide your students to survive in such a competitive scenario?

“Students these days are quite well aware of the competitive scenarios”

My primary objective is to instil qualities to help them conquer the competitive world. Some of them are:

  • Learn Innovation, Research and Entrepreneur Skills
  • Collaboration and Teamwork
  • Effective Communication
  • Develop a Problem solving
  • Creativity
  • Analytical thinking
  • Sound Ethics, Actions, and Accountability
  • Social Responsibility
“Majorly a Problem Solving attitude coupled with sound professional ethics is what I would suggest to the students. Apart from these, come to your soft skills and technical skills. Last, in today’s world, an innovative mind can do a lot more than a traditional mind”

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

“Carve your way forward by avoiding being part of the crowd to yield maximum results”

Avoid being a part of the crowd. Carve our way forward. It takes time, but the results are sweet. Avoid following popular trends that could lead to a high-risk lifestyle, such as becoming obsessed with materialism that you end up gaining unethical ways to achieve those things.

Maintain emotional stability. Managing emotions is vital for navigating through these critical times that we are currently living in. Emotions run high in dealing with personal matters, family matters, work relationships, even in sporting events, there have been incidents that go bad due to a loss of emotional control. If you control your emotions, most incidents will not escalate and can be handled in a calm and composed manner.
