He is an educationist having over 35 years of experience in education, training, research, coaching, counseling, academic administration, and compliance. He has a Ph. D. in Management from the prestigious Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi, preceded by an MBA(HR), and M.E.(Civil). He is professionally associated with The National HRD Network (NHRDN), The Institution of Engineers India (IEI), and many such prestigious organizations. He has trained over 10000 individuals on a variety of technical and soft skills. His guiding principle is "Perfectionism is mediocrity".

What are some of the biggest challenges you see for higher education?

“Educational budget, attracting quality faculty and standardization of curriculum”

  • Our budget allocation for education in general and higher education is way below the actual requirement. We have miles to go as far as fulfilling our dreams of becoming technologically advanced and an atma nirbhar Bharat.
  • The quality of intake (of students) is another big challenge that necessitates focusing on school education to improve the quality of basic education.
  • Uniformity of curriculum across universities is another big challenge for higher education in India.
  • Coming to challenges for our institute, attracting and retaining the best quality human resources is one of the biggest challenges among several others.

What are some plans that you’re currently (or will be) designing for students?

“Initiatives to collaborate with experienced faculties and global academies”

We have initiated a collaboration with some of the top faculties from across the border to strengthen our academics. It will be followed by collaborations with top B schools in the world for faculty exchange, student exchange, and joint certification programs, etc.
