Mr. V Murugandham have 16 years of teaching experience in the same Institution. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Commerce, with a specialization in human resources management. He has published 3 Text Books in Commerce and 5 Journals National and International. He has participated in and Presented at several conferences.
You have held key positions at education institutes throughout your professional career. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?
Teaching and research are my passions. As an educator, I don’t just teach students, I also have to keep upskilling and learning the current trends.
Being the HOD of MSCAS College, what is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?
I believe I am best suited to make decisions and lead the team. I intend to inspire and lead through action. I will provide my team with instruction and action to meet the needs of the institution.

Marketing plans are the roadmap to success for our College, keeping you on track with your initiatives throughout the year and, ideally, the next several years. It’s easy to get sidetracked when great ideas pop up, but like on a road trip you’ll never reach your destination if you keep adding new stops along the way.
The education systems in India and other foreign countries are structured very differently. In your experience, what can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute?

The Indian education system is BEST because I think a quality education is teaching students how to think critically and independently. It instills in students a passion for learning. It exposes students to different ways of thinking. It teaches students how to apply knowledge to real-world situations. It teaches students how to learn.

Any insights into how your College could be more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

The course curriculum is not the only source of knowledge in college. "People can criticize you, people can judge you, but keep doing it for you"
Don’t be too hard on yourself. No one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes. Mistakes are what make you stronger. Forgive yourself for your mistakes and learn from them. It matters now, it’s your life and you will live it the way you want. People can criticize you, people can judge you, but keep doing it for you. You should do whatever you want in your life.
How do you tend to establish a healthy relationship and environment in your institute?
Relationships are the positive connections between students, adults, and peers that foster positive social interaction and establish a nurturing environment of trust and support in College.
