The Summer Internship Program for PGDM batch of 2019 at International Management Institute Kolkata (IMI Kolkata) has yet again achieved another milestone. This season witnessed participation from 26 recruiters and 171 offers were made to the participants in various streams such as Sales & Marketing, Finance, Consulting, Operations & IT, HR and Analytics.

IMI Kolkata hosted some of the famous names from the industry leaders including JSW, Reliance Industries, Federal Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Prudential AMC, Oxford University Press, SAGE Publications and many more. The student placement committee, having 7 members assured the smooth conduct of the Summer Internship 2018 – 20 events.

Major Highlights of IMI Summer Internship Program 

  • BFSI and Services are the sectors which made the highest number of internship offers.
  • Finance and Marketing remained the preferred choices of the students.

  • Top 10 percentile: 63.1k
  • Top 25 percentile: 38.6k
  • Top 50 percentile: 27.6k
  • Highest stipend offered was INR 200k

IMI Placements: Domain-based Distribution 

As per the official brochure released by the institute, the break-up of internship offers across domains are sales and marketing 39 per cent, finance 16 per cent, consulting 28 per cent, operations & IT 7 per cent, OB & HR 3 per cent, Analytics 2 per cent and others 5 per cent.
