Dr. M. Suresh Babu is the Principal at the Y.V. Siva Reddy College of Engineering and Technology. He holds a Ph.D degree in Computer Science and Technology from SKU, Anantapur. He has an experience of over 24 years in the academic field. He has published research papers in 48 International Journals. He has also received various awards such as Best Coordinator - Jana Vignan Vedica, Hyderabad, Citizen's Pride etc.

What is your philosophy about education?

"I strongly believe that the means of education is not employment"

Research has proved that education is one of the most important sectors which can contribute a lot to the well-being and smooth functioning of society. However, the present system of education does not cultivate the qualities of tolerance, humility, co-operation, concern for the well-being of society, and responsibility for one’s own actions.

To plan the development of technical education, to establish value-based and need-based education and training in engineering and technology, with a view to generate qualified and competent manpower, responsive to technological and societal needs is our major goal.
