What are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

“I aim to ensure every student of the department strives for a bright future in their lives"

Since I'm the vice principal, I make sure all students in my department are heading toward prosperous futures. We have a strong bond with the large number of alumni who live in different parts of the world working with different leading chain hotels.


How do you try to bring in a practical approach towards subjects?

“Providing ample industrial training opportunities along with global exposure”

The department has been running for more than a decade and has developed innovative practices for the overall growth of students. Students are equipped with good communication skills, pleasant personalities, and academic backgrounds as well as employable skills such as drafting emails, technology-savvy skills, etc.


What sets your college apart from other colleges?

“Our educational institute is the only one with a NAAC (A) grade, AICTE approval and UGC approval in Rajasthan”

Our Institute is the only one in Rajasthan to have achieved NAAC (A) grade, and AICTE and UGC approval. These affiliations will assist our students in going abroad, and they won't experience any difficulty in Visa processing.

How do you ensure a positive environment on your campus?

The administration and higher management of Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur always focus on education ambience within the campus. Students and faculty have a healthy relationship, which makes this possible. For this purpose, the university has adopted a personal tutor system. Faculty members oversee a few students, keeping an eye on their academic performance. Additionally, keeping parents up-to-date by communicating with them regularly and settling any discrepancies.


What are your thoughts about the hybrid model of education (mixing online and offline media)?

“It expands educational opportunities by catering to different learning styles”

Hybrid learning offers several advantages, beginning with increased access to education and ending with the ability to cater to a variety of learning styles at once. It helps to alleviate many problems by reducing student absenteeism. Hybrid learning cannot be fully appreciated until you fully understand its various benefits. A key benefit of hybrid learning is the increased level of flexibility it offers, and this kind of flexibility is increasingly important in the education sector. Learning is generally about options, and the ability to offer in-person as well as remote learning can be extremely valuable. In every lesson, students want the freedom to decide how they learn. 


What advice would you like to give to students who will be joining the college in this session?

The hospitality and tourism industries have played a significant role in the world's development by sustaining peace over the past and present centuries. The reason is that the understanding of culture and belief is evolving. Countries with economies that are based on hospitality and tourism include countries like New Zealand, Italy, France, Switzerland and also India, Dubai, Thailand. Thus, the allied sectors such as hotels, resorts, transportation, recreation, and amusement parks are expected to have tremendous scope for growth in future.
