Dr. D. K. Modi, the founder Chairperson, shares his mission, vision, and goals about Dr. K. N. Modi University. He explains his motto and becomes nostalgic about how this institution was a dream of his parents. His father Dr. K. N. Modi was the founder of Dr. K.N. Modi Foundation and established his first college at Modinagar, Uttar Pradesh campus. Now following his footsteps, he dreams of this institution to be self-financed and become a leading center of innovation and learning across the nation.

Experience in the education industry and what makes it the best!

In my life, I have worked in various types of industries. But, giving the fact that how much I enjoy working with children of all age groups, whether it is school students or students getting a higher education, choosing to serve this sector was the best decision of my life. Since my parents were also passionate about education, so I inherited this passion from them.

It is rightly said that the students are the future generation of our country. So, it is a must to take every possible step to help and make their future a bright one. Providing good education is a primary step that must be taken in order to groom the upcoming generation.

Upcoming goals for the University

For me, Dr. K.N. Modi University is a dream of my parents that I have tried to fulfill. This is a temple of learning that provides education to students from 22 different states of India. They study in perfect harmony with our International students.  We are trying hard to acquire a desirable set of values, knowledge, and character as they are the future generation and have the responsibility to bring such desirable changes in society at large. We try to teach some universal ideals of love, peace, respect, tolerance, forgiveness, coexistence and non-violence.

We believe, if these values are present in our students, the world will be a better place to live in. Having these ideas incorporated into the education system, our country can progress much faster. We are trying to emphasize what the student has learned rather than how much marks, position or rank he has attained. If the learner has learned well and has gained knowledge in a true sense – he/she will be a gainer in life.

Knowledge-based learning revolves around both the knowledge that the student already has and the understanding that they are going to achieve by learning or studying more. We try to build imparting knowledge around this. I agree our faculty has to work really hard for this but the end result will be great. That is why students opt for us as they are aware that they are going to achieve their ultimate goal in life-attaining true knowledge.

There is a great saying by Billy Graham- "When wealth is lost, nothing is lost; when health is lost, something is lost; when a character is lost, all is lost." Hence, we added the importance of Character building to our curriculums. A character cannot be built only at Schools/Institutes. Since birth, children are good learners, they learn what their siblings or parents do. Hence, these elements play a very important role in a child’s character building process. We do our bit by showing them good movies, relating events of historic value and emphasizing the importance of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and good citizenship.

We truly wish our students set an example by standing apart in society by truly imbibing the values and knowledge imparted to them. I believe my students have achieved great success in their careers and will continue to do so in future.
