What challenges do you face while promoting the new age programs?
“Opportunity to be discovered under the hurdles in the educational sector”
I believe new-age programs have instead come as an opportunity, not as a challenge. The target group is so aware of the advancements and developments that they instead come on board with enough clarity and thus the queries. Our Programs are all new-age programs, with inputs from empaneled Industry Advisory Boards. All programs and deliverables are reasonably explained on our website and respective institute’s microsite; that most of the concerns and queries are addressed at initial steps. These new-age programs offered at our campus, helped us become a national campus; as the uniqueness of our program offerings draws a lot of attraction from outside Rajasthan and more than 50% of our enrolments are from out of Rajasthan.
When you came to this institution, what was your vision and how are you trying to achieve it?
“Evolution to set up education in every way to access it even during the pandemic”
I joined Amity University Rajasthan, Jaipur in the Peak admissions season of 2019, in February. I was very sure that as per the expectations, I will first ensure to achieve the highest admissions number for the system, since its inception; then further build that to Optimise the University’s capacity. Within two years of my stint at AUR, I and my team under the able young leadership could manage to achieve that, despite tough COVID times. We just ensured to stick to the basics and made sure that all our strengths are communicated and shared with our prospects.

What are the major challenges that you have faced as Director of Marketing & Admissions at Amity? How did you overcome them?
“Smooth work by management while creating awareness about the institute”
It was a little difficult to take the team on board and get them aligned to management’s and my vision. But with the help of empowerment, training, and ensuring that each individual gets to learn and unlearn; helped in building a strong team connection, and within two years results are evident. The other minor challenge was to break the fixed mindset on the customer approach. But now every team member is contributing to higher spirits as recognition excites them to excel and perform.
