What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Ayush :

“The topic for the WAT was related to universal basic income “

What were your answers/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?

Ayush :

“ The universal Basic income was one of the topics mentioned by the government as a part of their manifesto at that time, hence the merits and demerits of it were written down. Certain countries had already implemented the scheme in small pilot projects, the references of those were penned down.“

Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.

Ayush :

“ The setting was in a large room with 3 members sitting in the room. In total 6-7 panels were sitting for the interviews in the entire venue. For the interview panel members check the confidence of students and whether they are a fit for MBA so show you confident and positive self. “

Mention at least 5 interview questions that were asked to you and your responses to each of them.

Ayush :

"1) Tell us about yourself- Talked about the city I come from, background of family and education in the past. My interests and hobbies were mentioned with the awards I have achieved in the past.

2) My hobby was solving puzzles and hence a mathematical puzzle was given to me to be solved during the interview.

3) Some questions on physics were asked in the exam which were purely logical regarding friction and its effects.

4) Extempore was conducted on the topic of social media and its positive and negative impacts on todays generation.

5) I had worked previously in a mine for two months and my learnings and experience from that was asked."

Mention 3 reasons why you chose this college over other colleges which you converted (OR if you did not join this college after converting it, mention 3 reasons for not joining it).

Ayush :

“ I chose this college because of the largest batch size of IIM Indore which would result in better networking and opportunities ahead. The college houses several other facilities and not just academics like sports complex, swimming pool, etc. for development. It is an old IIM with well qualified faculty.”

What was the reason for you not converting other colleges?

Ayush :

“ My lack of knowledge about the subjects related to commerce and economy (e.g. inflation, policies, etc) “
