Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?

Garvit Minocha: “WAT - My WAT and PI round happened in Vivanta by Taj, New Delhi. The moderators were present and we were given 20 minutes to write on the topic assigned.

My advice to the aspirants will be to read a lot of newspapers and have a little knowledge of everything. If you are confident, state facts and figures as it does helps during evaluation.”

What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Garvit Minocha: "Digital India”

What were your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?

Garvit Minocha: “My answer revolved around the trends at that time and how demonetization had given a boost to digital payments. In my answer, I questioned if India was actually ready for such a movement given that not even tech giant like Facebook was safe from data mining firms like Cambridge Analytica.”

Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.

Garvit Minocha: “The PI happened in Vivanta by Taj only after we were done with our WAT. There were 2 interviewers, both male. My interview went around for 15-17 minutes.

I'll advice the aspirants to be confident, interact with the other students there as it helps with the stress.”

Garvit Minocha: “Q1. Tell us something about yourself. Told about my education background, internships done and the PORs held.

Q2. Why do you want to do MBA. Told about my experience of managing my own team as the President at E-cell during my UG which led me to believe that this was something I wanted to pursue.

Q3. Extempore (had to speak for 1 min) - India's relationship with Afghanistan.

Q4. In which field would you like to major. I mentioned that as an aspiring entrepreneur I felt that Marketing was something that will enable me to understand a problem and come up with a feasible solution.

Q5. Define the 4 P's marketing. Product, Price, Place, Promotion - elaborated with examples”
