CLAT 2021: Registration Begins from January 01, Exam on May 9; Check Details Here


CLAT 2021: The registration process for CLAT Admissions 2021 has now begun from January 01, 2021. Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) released the Exam Notification for CLAT 2021 on December 27.

Candidates who fulfil eligibility criteria and seek admission to various law colleges across India shall register themselves for CLAT 2021 on the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

CLAT is a national level entrance exam conducted every year to provide admission to candidates in various undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes. CLAT 2021 is likely be conducted on May 9, 2021.

National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bangalore will be heading CLAT 2021 conducted by Consortium of NLUs.

CLAT 2021 will be conducted to provide admission to various law programs across India such as BA LLB, B.Com LLB, B.Sc. LLB, BBA LLB, five-year integrated law courses.

CLAT 2021 Registration: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to various law courses across many different private and self-financed law colleges in India shall fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

  • For CLAT-UG 2021: Must have scored a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • For CLAT-PG 2021: Must have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in LLB or equivalent from a recognized institution.

Note: 5% relaxation in the qualifying examination marks will be provided to SC/ST candidates.

CLAT 2021 will be conducted for admissions to 22 NLUs of India and over 77 popular law institutions. The exam is expected to be conducted in exam centres via an online mode with effect to COVID-19 pandemic crisis.
