Experience in the education industry

Being an educationist, my experience in this industry has been satisfying so far. The ability to mould the future and mind of the youth makes it the best profession in the world. Working or serving this sector, makes you feel that we are somewhat contributing to the society in a positive and healthy way.

Mr. Gupta has a defined leadership style

A good philosophy is one where the leader set examples and empower his/her team members to reach their full potential. My style of leadership is always driven by honesty and integrity wherein I strictly defined my philosophy and principles and follows the same.

Challenges faced by Dr. Gupta

One of the biggest challenges that I ever faced is to maintain the environment of COER according to the ongoing trends. Being an educational institution, it is necessary to keep the teaching methodology updated. To keep the reputation of the college uptight, these are few challenges which we come across regularly.

Student-industry interaction

It is crucial to provide the students with ample amount of industry exposure in order to make them aware and understand the upcoming challenges of the real world. We, at COER, encourage them to work on a number of industrial projects, organise seminars, and workshops to bridge up the gap between the classroom learning and practical learning.

Mr. Gupta on task management

Holding a prominent position in the Institution, it is required to focus on top priorities. I start my day with making a task list and assigning a priority mark to each chore. I also utilize capabilities of my team.

Relationship with the student

I regularly visit classrooms to interact with the students in order to get a glimpse of their world. Doing so helps me in understanding their problems, thoughts and opinions properly. For better communication, I follow an open door policy where anyone can contact me anytime without giving it a second thought.

Ideal school environment as per Mr. Gupta

Diversity is the essence of a college life and one can learn a lot from different cultures. To establish a healthy culture we conduct college fests, events, competitions, uniformity in hostel allocations, seating arrangements to promote student bonding. Also, we encourage college uniform to eradicate any further differences.
