Komal Khare Admission Experience

Did you avail of the benefit of any reservation?

Komal Khare: “General (No reservation)”

Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?

Komal Khare: “My GD took place online only. The process was very smooth as we were provided with everything beforehand. Everyone got a fair chance to put up their points as there were 10-12 members in each group and a total of 20 mins were provided. After the topic was announced we were given around 5 mins to think and frame the answer and GD took place very well without any disputes. In the case of WAT again, the mode was online. It also went without any hurdles, a dummy topic was given to practice before the actual session, One topic was given and I had to write for 20 mins around.”

What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Komal Khare: “for GD it was: Can India become a 5 trillion economy by 2025”

What were your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?

Komal Khare: “- I supported the argument that India can reach the mentioned target as we are already 3 Trillion economies and If the money spent wisely we can achieve this goal. Moreover, foreign investment plays an important role in this after corona companies will prefer India as compared to China to set up their manufacturing base in Asia. Companies like Tesla are also coming up and this can be fruitful for the Indian economy.”

Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.

Komal Khare: “There were around 7-8 panels and 2 panelists in each of them and students were divided fairly among the panelists. I think they were faculty members of the institute only.

Interview duration was around 15 minutes and rather than being a stressful interview it was more of a relaxed one.”

Komal Khare: “SCMHRD was in my preference list because of its strong alumni network and brand value of Symbiosis. Moreover, it is a student-driven college and everyone is given a fair chance to showcase their talent. Faculty is great here at SCMHRD and the Pune location adds a plus point to it.”

What was the reason for you not converting other colleges? (if any)

Komal Khare: “Well, I converted quite a few Good colleges like Tapmi, Great lakes, SIBM B, SIIB, etc but in IIM Kashipur I am waitlisted. I guess I lacked newspaper knowledge and the current value of Sensex and dollar. So, please go through all these things before the interview.”
