Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)

Amit:: KIAMS GD was held in offline mode. There were 10 students in the GD with 1 moderator. We were given 2 minutes to think about the topic. Everyone got a chance to speak but at the same time GD sometimes went aggressive.

Tips: Keep calm and present your points logically with precise content.

What was the WAT / GD Topic ?

Amit: GD Topic:Carbon footprint and effect of its emission: good or bad?

What were your answers / points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively ?

Amit:: Points put Forward

  1. Defining Carbon footprint, what it implies. 
  2. Generally measured for countries, companies, and people.
  3. Cited reasons for Carbon footprint.Such as Population growth, increase in vehicles usage.
  4. Explained How Increased materialism is causing increased production.

 Responses: I explained the usage and effects of Carbon footprint with valid examples.

Describe the general setting of your Interview.

Amit: The mode of interview was offline and there were 3 rounds of interview .There were 2 members in each panel of interview. The panel comprised the HOD and professor from the college. My interview went for around 25 minutes. It was a healthy discussion mainly on Time Management and People Management.The interview process was quite interactive with the panel members.

Tips: Don't put lengthy answers before the panel, be concise in your reply.

Answer: Setting up a platform for data sharing among the batch students such as study material, ppts. College fest and Coordination with faculty and management for student benefits, college cultural activities)

  1.  Suppose students are not willing to attend extra classes on weekends, how will you manage to conduct the class?

Answer: Checking with faculty for alternative slot as per their calendar and proposing management for alternative off day, if both doesn't work convince students for attending the lecture
