What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“My deep-rooted love for teaching keeps me in touch with this domain”

I have always been interested in teaching since my younger days. I used to love to teach my friends. So basically I have an instinct for this sector. And, this is the reason that has kept me associated with this field.

How do you strategize regarding the marketing plans of your institute?

“A word of mouth from our successful alumni is all the marketing we need”

I believe that our students are our brand ambassadors. So they are our primary way of marketing. Focusing on nourishing our existing students, in turn, acts as a simple way of marketing for our future students.

What do you think should be your University’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“Keeping our curriculum in tune with the changing needs of the job industry”

Our major focus is our curriculum and we are constantly working on it. Because as you see, the world is changing at a very fast rate than we could even realize, so to keep the students relevant we will have to keep the curriculum up to date. They should be able to understand the future requirement and should be able to mold themselves according to changes. There should be enough skill set with each of the students to keep them relevant throughout life.

What are the initiatives taken by your institute to ensure continued education during the pandemic?

“Restructuring our entire education process to fit the modern digital mode”

Our main focus is to make the online lessons as interactive & as interesting as possible. To compensate for the real classroom dynamics, we motivate our students to be highly interactive. Doubt resolving, Q&A rounds, updated PPT’s for reference are a few of the steps taken by us for the benefit of our students.

What do you see as your University’s greatest strengths?

“Our biggest strength is our practice-based & interactive curriculum”

I am not talking about the bookish curriculum, but our focus on making our student’s industry ready, and imparting more practical based knowledge. We continuously invite industry experts to interact with our students and enlighten them about their experiences. We have a very robust placement cell that provides the best placements to our students.

What are some of the biggest challenges you see, for the education sector currently?

“Availability of good & learned faculty members to impart practical-based education”

The only problem in today's educational journey is finding good faculty. Good professors who have the relevant domain knowledge and not only the bookish knowledge, are rare these days. Because in India, we usually focus on textbook education more. Our exams are designed in such a way that checks only our memory and not the knowledge. And thus we have produced the students who later become faculty at educational institutions and transfer the same thing to the other generation as well. And it’s high time now, we should stop this and start focusing on more knowledge-based education.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

“Try to become self-aware, gain knowledge yourself & do not follow others blindly”

It is simply that I want young kids to be more aware of themselves. It means that they should do their research themselves and do not follow others without questioning.
