What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Constant evolution and dynamism of the education sector”

The world is ever evolving and there’s just no constant other than it. The philosophy was overall growth, whether it is technological, psychological or just organizational/ hierarchical. Just about every other sector focuses on financial growth which is a myopic view of life, but education is one such sector that focuses on unending learning. Educational sector is clearly not for everyone: it's for specific individuals who seek higher things higher than the typical materialistic gains. Work satisfaction is one big factor while working in the educational sector.

How would you describe your leadership style?

“Mentoring and supporting the team from backend”

The best leader is the one who is invisible, is what I believe. The true leader stays in the background, like the backbone, supporting and coordinating every effort yet invisible to the naked eye. I believe that the ideal leader should act as a figurehead, enabling people to be independent and realize their hidden potential. I’ve been blessed with a loyal, committed and forward looking team which is constantly evolving every day, and thus my inputs are required only in long term strategy formulation, and occasional problem solving.

How do you strategize the key plans for the administration of your college?

“The short term and the long term planning and balancing”

It's easy to focus on the long term policy formation for stability, but that would mean a lot of stress in the short term. Adequate feedback is my mantra for any administrator at any level. Listening is always better than talking, and I would never refrain from it. Just about everyone multitasks in today’s work environment, specially in the post-Covid era, we require a clear head to give maximum performance and results. We have built a team of professionals who are on a single task, single mission mode, and speaking of which, they follow the organizational philosophy of serving first. They’re also relatively free to experiment for the best results, in terms of overall reputation and admission count.

What can an inbound student gain from studying here in college?

“Quality approaches to learn and grow as professionals”

A mature student must possess the capability to appreciate and accept the differences of the business or social world, no matter where he or she studied from. A student of our college is expected to be very practical and rational to the business approach. Our students end up being entrepreneurs before even passing out. We manage to provide them hands-on experience through national and international seminars, workshops and training programs. We aim to provide a stage to every budding dream, and having a small organization allows us to be more customized in our approach.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the students are?

“Providing strong and productive academic rigor”

As an administrator of an educational institution, my prime responsibility stands towards my students, more specifically towards the quality and relevance of the education we provide. As a college, we have an unending, yet limited interaction with the students and we aim to make it fruitful for the student’s career and life. Apart from due academic commitments, we also focus on quality of life aspects like personality development, human values development, entrepreneurship and innovation development, etc.

What do you think should be the college’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“Developing relevant technological advancements for startups”

This is the era of entrepreneurship. In the coming 10 years, our top priority is to develop as a Start-up hub for every management student of ours. Boosting innovation and developing the zeal of self entrepreneurship is what we aim at. We are focused on providing every possible facility on-campus to our students.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth?

“Learn every single day”

All I can say is, it's more important to keep updated with the business world, and take advantage of any little opportunity you can get, provided it's contributing to your career. Self improvement is the best improvement. Learning never stops.

How do you tend to establish healthy relations in your college?

“Focus on a positive, learner-friendly environment”

We promote a homely environment, which provides opportunities without discrimination. A positive environment is one having rules, but not requiring them. We have an open-door policy towards any student who feels like having a talk on any matter. That’s not all, we aim to ensure that each member maintains a hospitable environment for others. An organization like ours manages disciplinary complaints on a case to case basis, also we have a centralized system of grievance redressal to ensure a fair mechanism to resolve students’ problems.
