Mr.S Vishnu Vardhan Rao is an MA from Andhra University and MBA from Allagappa University. He has been working as the principal of TSR & TBK Degree College since 2014. He aims that the students who graduated from TSR & TBK Degree college are trained to join MNC. The students are MNC ready.
Being the principal of the TSR and TBK degree college, how do you ensure the growth of the students?
"By developing cooperative exercises and emphasizing the problem-solving capability of the students"
Cooperative exercises help students to work together and solve the problem as a group thereby encouraging team spirit. Growth is possible by setting goals that students strive for through their hard work and dedication and achieving them demonstrates their attainability of growth and progress. Even by emphasizing the problem-solving capability of the students, making them prepared to face any challenges during their course of education. Encouraging the students to take any challenges with grit and integrity, so that they are ready to face the competitive world. However, by instilling discipline and moral values in the students to become model student citizens and be an inspiration to their fellow students. And encourage them to participate in cultural activities, sports, and competitions for healthy all-around growth of the student. It is possible only by discouraging bullying and indiscipline on the college campus.

Apart from concentrating on the student’s academic excellence, we focus on their all-around development by encouraging active participation in sports, cultural activities, seminars, and competitions. Further, encouraging the implementation of ICT teaching methods for more interactive class sessions. By applying theoretical concepts taught in the classroom in practical sessions, for more clarity on the concepts. In implementing stringent measures to curb bullying/ragging/indiscipline of any kind on the college campus and through constant monitoring. By imparting quality education with well-experienced and qualified teachers for their growth and progress.
How do you tend to establish a healthy relationship and environment in your Institute?
"Be flexible, amiable, and respectable to the students and staff alike to strike a cordial relationship between them as they are the pillars of support to the college"
By being transparent in discussing the failures and mistakes of staff or students, if any, and encouraging them to overcome the drawbacks and help them become successful by lending all the necessary support. By getting feedback from the students and staff to check and control if any drawbacks need to be rectified. By listening patiently to the staff and student requirements and understanding the gravity of the situation and acting responsibly, swiftly, and effectively.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities are to the college and the students?

This aim can be achieved by providing freedom for the students and teachers to voice their opinion. Also, continuous monitoring of the student progress and quality and method of teaching is needed. Further, by promoting students' active participation in all the college events as well as events held at district, state, and national levels.
However, establishing a positive environment in the college by recognizing and celebrating the success of the students and teachers as a gesture of appreciation for their accomplishments. In implementing stringent measures to curb any bullying/ragging and indiscipline. Hence, providing the teachers and students with an accurate and timely academic calendar and timetables for each subject group for proper conduction of theory classes, practical sessions, and examinations. By encouraging the implementation of more student-focused activities for their all-around development. By conducting remedial classes for the backward students and economically weaker section students. By employing interactive sports, literature, and scientific activities.
What would you like people to know about your institution they may not know?

It has a huge playground for playing sports and conducting cultural activities. The lush green vegetation on the college campus provides a serene and cool environment. Teaching by highly accomplished faculty. By encouraging students to not just be part of academic activities but also be part of community service activities. Our college conducts placement drives where many students are placed in reputed IT firms and companies both in India and abroad. Our college boasts more than 30 years to its time of establishment and several thousands of students have soared to great heights in India and abroad. Our college is also referred to as the second shantivan owing to its scenic beauty, grandeur infrastructure, and quality education by eminent teachers. Ranked B in NAAC assessment and high ranking in the list of city colleges of Visakhapatnam.

Do not rush to achieve the set goals as patience and steadiness is the ultimate key to success. Learn from mistakes rather than give up. DO not indulge in illegal, antisocial activities and bad behavior rather be a model citizen who is responsible in all aspects. Establish a set of values, aim high and work towards the aim. Cultivate a spirit of gratitude. Focus on their self-development and growth. Have a healthy mental state and avoid stress at all costs.

Have the ability to successfully implement a change. I believe in developing a good art of communication which is a strong foundation for demonstrating good leadership. By setting quality standards in the round development and improvement of the college. My leadership style is to positively lead and guide my teachers and students through valuable inputs and setting examples, by motivating and inspiring them to excel in their field of study and providing them the amenities to soar to greater heights in academia.
