Being a faculty of the Placement department, what are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

"Grooming of students will be done based on the their interests"

We have the responsibility of paving the right career for the student based on his skills, interests and abilities. To evaluate the student’s capabilities and his/her interests, we adopt different assessments after which we will form our opinion and support the student in their favorite domain to build their career. During the course of selections, we identify weaknesses accrued through their years of experience and help the student to modify them to suit the industry requirement, if they are within our permissible limits. 

Does your department prepare students for higher education?

"We encourage students to learn from Seminars, Symposiums, Conferences on higher education"

The student planning for higher education after graduation is a choice, but not compulsory. Those who dream about higher education must be inclined towards a different experience in their life in their chosen manner. We guide students for the best options to choose from the available based on our opinions on the scores of designated assessments from global agencies for admission purposes.

What valuable advice would you like to give to the students for a prosperous career?

"We always encourage students to pursue a career of their choice"

There is no hard and fast rule to take one domain and get success. We strongly believe in the commitment of the student towards his goals. Students will be guided, mentored, trained and provided needed platforms so as to show their skill or expertise to be recognized or get enough exposure to sustain. My advice is to pursue what you love the most as your career and climb the highest level to serve your society.

What approach do you bring in apart from curriculum to teach the students?

"We identify and mark student's understanding on the academic front and extracurricular activities"

Based on the student's needs, we like to suggest programs that can extract their talent and create interest to improve their skills. One student who is weak in aptitude can turn out to be weak in Technical. So, identifying the student then giving the needed inputs to match the industry needs is very important in honing the student for employability purposes.

How do you help your student to cope up with the competitive environment?

"The students are educated to understand the efforts they need to put in to catch up"

We strategize the Training and placement activity based on the changes accrued or changes brought in due to factors such as market Dynamics, Technological impacts of global economic alterations. At the end of the day, the ultimate performer is a student to attain success either in college or in the Company.

Does the SEC conduct any extracurricular activities to enhance the student's skills?

We distribute our daily class hours between syllabus teaching, employability skills enhancement programs and mental & physical Health nurturing hours. Accordingly, every student works on developing their whole personality with the required knowledge and skills.
