With 22 years of professional experience, Dr. Manoj Kumar is currently serving as the Director of RP Sharma Institute of Technology, Patna. Beside being an eminent member of various national and international associations and organizations, he has been awarded with many national recognitions including Dr. Rajendra Prasad Shiksha Siromani Samman 2020. With 04 national industrial projects and 29 papers published so far, Dr. Manoj also has an innovation patent and a book under his name. 

What keeps you connected with the education sector?

“Continuous learning experience for life”

Teaching helps you grow throughout your life in both ways academically and socially. It aids internal integration of learning and growing on an everyday basis. Conversing with students, upcoming with new ideas and latest trends of the world, seeing them grooming into professionals make me feel much more happy. 

How would you describe your leadership style?

“Working together and bridging the gaps”

Coordination is essential for achieving goals and setting examples in the field. Leadership is about how successful you are to bridge the gap between the management and the fellow members. It is about working together and working freely as well, acting accordingly and responding effectively to challenges and solutions.

How does the curriculum of your Institute ensure the best practice of industry?

“Practical training and extracurricular activities with regular classroom program”

We are dedicated to provide high quality education to our students and we ensure that they possess all skill sets required to face the real world. Along with effective classroom teaching, we also focus on co-curricular activities and training programs that aid students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience. Various seminars, webinars, conferences, workshops are being organized in the Institute’s campus to make a good practical exposure.

What do you think should be the College’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“A systematic and well developed education hub”

Formulating policies for a better working environment and good academic performance are our topmost priorities. We aspire to practice a right system for a global approach and representation of our institute at international levels. All the steps that we are taking in the education sector presently, need more improvement over the time. Better placement rate, high performance based training, right working culture etc. are needed to be improvised with new guidelines. 

What is your vision for education?

“Progressive evolution towards a better society”

I believe that education is a very powerful tool to transform society in a positive way. The vision is to create humane society through educating youth and developing their character, skills, talents, etc. in a more lunatic way. Education is always helpful with no negative effects and surely never betrays you.
