Dr Syed Hamid Mohiuddin Quadri is an Associate Professor & HoD in the MBA department of Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology, Hyderabad. He did Bachelor of Engineering, Osmania University, 2002 and Master of Business Administration, Osmania University, 2008. Also, he completed Master of Philosophy in Management, Sree Venkateswara University, 2012 and Master of Technology, Jawaharlal National Technical University, 2014. He pursued Doctorate in Philosophy in Management, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad.

Dr Syed becomes the Board of Studies Chairperson for MBA Department Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad. He has more than 20 years of Exp in teaching and 5 + years in Industry. He is a member of various professional bodies like HMA, MTC Global, IARA, Kutumb, committees in LORDS Institute of Engineering and Technology, like NAAC, Autonomous, IQAC, CAC, R&D, Sports etc. He published 20 + Articles in various reputed journals and books.

Master of Business Administration with the objective of teaching the student for 360-degree holistic development. It includes 25 percent of academics, soft skills, industry and corporate strategies.

We are following the London School of business. In this model, we have four various aspects of developing skills in students. It will benefit their career.

The Syllabus is framed such that the student can compete at various levels. They can get ahead in the competition. The staff members are putting their experience and knowledge to train the students in such a way that they raise the bar of excellence and get ahead.


What are your views on the future of education in the rapid trend of technological addition in every course curriculum?

“Integrate the Technological effect and implementation on curriculum”

The covid has affected in fact every field. Digitization has majorly impacted all the activities. Education system is getting hit the most, each and every institute has to change the curriculum. So, they can see the need to integrate the Technological effect and implementation


How do you tend to build an industry connection with the new roles that are being offered by companies?

“Focus on practical learning through industrial visits and other sessions to students”

We are taking the students to industry for industrial visits, and field visits. So, they get practical exposure to the industry. We are more focusing on practical learning of pupils. 


What were the challenges that you faced while inculcating the new program in your curriculum?

“To match the curriculum with AICTE, UGC, University, and Institute standards”

We have several challenges while we were designing the curriculum. One of these include bring the change in the curriculum which has to match AICTE, UGC, University, and Institute standards. Then the curriculum should also be so effective that it should also be digested by the students.


What are the key factors that are being considered while adding a new course in  Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology?

“Impact of economic policies, computer based approach and technology integration”

Integration of Technology in every field is the primary factor. Other parts include impact of computer based approaches in TLP and Economic Policies.
