Imparting higher education in different areas of expertise

Education is essential for the development of youth in our country. It is necessary to impart quality and appropriate knowledge to the students in order to create a prosperous world. We at KIIT, are imparting higher education in different areas of expertise like Engineering, IT, and Management, in order to create a better human being and society.

I have worked for Universities in the USA also, and the education and research environment there is of very high quality. The professors there are working diligently in the innovation of new technologies and products in their area of expertise. When we talk about India, we are trying to develop that the same environment, but due to lack of facilities, it has not reached to that level.

KIIT’S strengths and curriculum

We have tried to create and adopt a few different things in our style of teaching. Quality Education being of prime importance, meaning the education imparted must be of a level where the students are able to stand out and be easily employable. Another aspect is providing value based education. This is an important aspect, which is lacking in the students and younger generation.

At the time of planning and defining proper syllabi for programs, we make sure to add in various programs related to human values, proper exposure, and technologies that are up to date. Various workshops, seminars, guest lectures and industry visits are organised in order to keep out students as well as faculty aware of the ongoing and upcoming trends.

KIIT welcomes students from all backgrounds

Students from all backgrounds are welcomed here. Students from weaker sections of the society study with students who are well off. Foreign students are also welcomed in our institute. We promote and create an environment for our students where they interact with others without any hesitation and differences. This helps them to learn about different cultures, mindset and improve their understanding of human nature as well.

Roles and responsibilities as the Director General of KIIT

We are highly responsible people who take care of students as our children. We strongly believe that they are the future leaders of our country. Keeping this though in mind, makes us even more dedicated towards providing them with quality education and best of the best facilities.

Every student here is taken care of, all the possible problems are dealt with, and we try to maintain a perfect learning environment with extra-curricular activities also. Students have enabled access to various activities apart from studies, where they can develop and learn and grow.

Establishing a relationship with the students

From my end, I make it a point to make the students and faculty feel comfortable around me. I assure to create a friendly and cooperative environment within the campus. Each of the member associated to the institution is aware of the fact that I am easily approachable and a good listener.

Suggestion for the youth and aspiring students

The only suggestion for the students, who are the ultimate future of our country, is to stay focused and never say no to challenges!

We are living in challenging times and technology is growing at a fast pace, it has become a need of the hour to utilise technology in every possible way. It has become important to use all the available resources to make the world a better place to live in!

There is a saying in sanskrit “Vasudev Kutumbakam”, meaning - the whole world is our family and we should treat and work for the betterment of it.
