Dr. Bayapureddy Sreenivasa Reddy is a Principal of G Pulla Reddy Engineering College. He did B.E from Mysore University and M.E from BITS Pilani. He has also done PhD from JNTUH, Hyderabad. He has a vast experience of 30+ years in academics as well as administration. He is a life member of ISTE, ISHMT, IME, FIE, ASME, and SAE. He has also published several papers in national and international journals. He has authored a Book titled Thermal Engineering Data Handbook by IK International, New Delhi in 2007.

The quality of technical education along with the participation of stakeholders is essential in the teaching-learning process. I have contributed to the improvement of professional students and their learning in my career. 


What is your leadership philosophy? 

“To improve the quality of education through trust and decisiveness”

I believe that all stakeholders participate in improving the quality of technical education. Moreover, I believe in a leadership style that behaves with empathy, trust, thoughtfulness, decisiveness, and kindness.


How do you implement plans for the administration on campus?

“Motivate employees to reach the goals of the college”

The reputation of the campus is a vital part. We do not strategize about the marketing efforts aimed at the promotion of our College. The programs and plans are made to motivate employees to reach goals in administration. It is the way to success.

What are your roles and responsibilities?

“Plan educational policies and maintain academic events”

Managing the academic events and policies is necessary for the development of the campus. It is my primary role as an administrator. Conflict resolution and planning are another part. It helps to oversee the educational policies related to students.


What is the top priority of campus over the next 10 years?

“To recognize objectives of technical education and reform teaching-learning methods”

The priority of campus is recognition and realization of objectives of technical education in the long run. It is essential to reform teaching-learning and evaluate assessment along with Industry collaborations. These are part of the strategic plan decided by the college for the next 10 years. 


What is your vision for the G Pulla Reddy Engineering College?

“Implement quality education for all pupils”

The Institution started three and half decades ago. It involves technical education. The campus visualized a role for imparting quality technical education to students of backward regions of the State. I have played a role over three decades as an academician and administrator to fulfill the vision.


What do you like people to know about campus?

“Advanced curriculum in the practice of engineering profession”

Our College follows an advanced curriculum. It prepares students for the trends in the practice of the engineering profession. We provide Skill Enhancement Centres and laboratories in association with the Industry.
