Which latest programs are you offering in your institute to help students stand apart from the crowd?

"Our college is offering BBA degree course to students at undergraduate level"

We are offering a 3 year under-graduate BBA professional degree course in business administration to our students in affiliation to Punjab University of Chandigarh. And the main objective of offering this course to young minds is to make them capable of doing business and strengthen their management skills.

Students of every stream be it Science, Commerce or Arts can pursue the BBA course from our college and after successfully finishing the course, they can do a full time job in reputed organizations or can become a job provider altogether by starting their Entrepreneurship journey. They can also work in different management positions in the corporate sector. 

What will you say are the best practices of the courses that students are pursuing from your college?

"Workshops, management games, webinars and seminars are regularly conducted by us"

We regularly conduct management games, workshops, seminars, webinars and group discussions in order to inculcate best managerial and leadership skills in our students. We have established a Management Club in our college to organize different activities like industry visits and talks with industry experts to provide practical learning exposure to students and educate them about the latest developments in the field of business and the kind of challenges they will have to face while starting their own business. Apart from this, Placement Cell of our college is dedicatedly working for the development of students and also helps them with respect to higher studies and employment opportunities.

What are some valuable insights of the programs that your institute is offering to students?

The newly introduced BBA course which we are offering to our students is perfectly capable of enhancing their leadership and management skills and making them job ready. And if I talk specifically about the opportunities which will be available to them after successfully completing this course from our college, the doors of higher education are open and they can pursue courses like MA and MBA. And there is great demand for BBA graduates in IT companies, banking and finance sectors, manufacturing industries, academic institutes, hospitals, research and development organizations etc.

How do the programs of your college ensure the future preparedness of students?

"We supplement students knowledge by assigning them projects and assignments regularly"

For the purpose of improving critical thinking and problem solving skills of students, making them more confident and removing their fear of public speaking, we regularly assign a wide variety of mini-major projects and assignments and ask them to give presentations for the same. Apart from this, to teach them important skills like teamwork, time management and coordination, we regularly involve them in different kinds of group activities. Last but not the least, various events like role play, ad mad show and case study competitions are organized by us from time to time to prepare students for this cut-throat competitive world.

How did you train your faculty members to deliver courses to students in the best possible way?

"Faculty members are trained through FDPs and workshops which we organize in collaboration with industry experts"

Although all our faculty members are highly qualified and experienced in their respective areas, with changing technologies and industrial expectations from students they also need to upskill themselves so that they can deliver the best quality education to students. And to upgrade their knowledge, make them aware about trends of Management field and enhance their professional competence, our college organizes Faculty Development Programs, workshops and special guest lectures on a regular basis. 

How do you build a strong connection between your institute courses and industry requirements?

"By organizing professional visits, workshops, seminars and special guest lectures for students benefits"

For the purpose of ensuring that our courses are compliant with industry standards and requirements, we have collaborated with many reputed companies and organizations and have signed MOUs with each of them. And in alliance with industry experts, we regularly organize events like industrial visits, workshops, seminars and special lectures for students' benefit. Apart from this, we educate students about the possible career opportunities which will be available to them right after college through career oriented seminars which are generally conducted by the Career and Placement Cell of our institute and sometimes we also take help from corporate people. 

What challenges have you faced while inculcating the latest courses in the college's curriculum? 

"Conducting special training programs to make students corporate ready is a real challenge for us"

The most prominent hurdle in front of us is to organize practical training programs for students in offline mode and make them job ready in accordance with ever changing industrial demands and developments.

On what types of projects your students are currently working under their respective courses?

"Our students are conducting various kinds of surveys and also doing financial analysis for companies"

Our students are currently working on a wide variety of projects under their respective courses. And while some of them are analyzing financial statements of companies, others are conducting consumer surveys on different products and human resource policies of small and big organizations. 

What career options would be available for students after pursuing a BBA course from your college?

"Students can do a full time job, start their own business and go for higher studies as well"

BBA is not any regular but a professional degree course which opens a wide variety of career options for students in the discipline of Business and Management. And students can also become an Entrepreneur and set up their own firms. In addition to this, they can pursue MBA programs and acquire specializations in fields like finance, E-Commerce, Logistics Management, Banking and Insurance, Finance, International Business and Marketing etc.
