New Delhi: BHU is currently accepting applications from Indian Nationals, Foreign Nationals, PIO and OCI, for ‘Malaviya Postdoctoral Fellowships’ for the academic year 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, bhu.ac.in. The last date to apply is June 17, 2022.
As part of the BHU Fellowship, a candidate will receive INR 1 lakh per month, with an additional annual research grant of INR 3 lakh. A PhD with a very good academic record or a postdoctoral experience of three years is essential for candidates to get enrolled.
The fellowship programme of BHU offers up to 100 positions in the sciences, social sciences, humanities, and other professional areas. It is for three years and can be extended for another two years if the review committee gives them a favourable recommendation.

BHU Malaviya Postdoctoral Fellowships Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria
- PhD from the top 500 Institutions (THE or Q-S ranking) and a very good academic record throughout or a postdoctoral experience of three years.
- Candidates have evidenced and independent research capability and have publications in high impact journals.
- The age of the candidate must be less than 35 years.

- Proposed research plan (up to 500 words)
- CV with a list of all Publications.
- PDF files of at least two and up to five important publications and a brief description of the candidate’s contribution.
- Consent from a faculty member from BHU, who is willing to host may be attached.
- LOR of thesis supervisor or PDF advisor.
