On 20th May 2020, The Career Service Centre, Bennett University, organized a webinar session ' Future commerce and role of technology in it' under the framework of Bennett CXO Series with Mr Amar Nagaram CEO, Myntra & Jabong.
The webinar conducted by Bennett University informed the students about the challenges the e-commerce industry is facing due to the unprecedented situation in the wake of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Amar elaborated on how Myntra is playing an active role in helping its employees, delivery personals, small sellers, and buyers.
He discussed the future of the fashion e-commerce market in India, Myntra's Unique UI experience, and its cloud partnership with Microsoft. He also mentioned how students can play a significant role in helping the community and urged everyone to stay at home to fight off COVID-19
With an experience of over 15 years in technology. Mr. Amar has donned multiple hats and is known for his liking to solve complex problems and thinking out of the box.
Mr. Amar has worked with Flipkart for over six years and has led multiple teams, ranging from Mobile and Web Engineering to Product, Design, Engineering, and Operations for the CSE group of Flipkart.
Bennett University has a dedicated Placements Team that works closely with the industry for their participation in guest lectures, curricular inputs, joint program development, internships, and placements.
