Allahabad University Announces to Waive off Admission Fee, 50% Hostel Fees; Check Details Here

New Delhi: Allahabad University has announced to waive off the total academic fee and 50% hostel fees for the academic year 2021-22 for the students of the university and its affiliated colleges. 

Allahabad University has taken the decision of waiving off academic and hostel fees to the students who have lost their parents due to Covid-19

According to the AU statement, being aware of the pandemic covid-19 spread across the country since March 2020, many of the students from AU and its affiliated colleges lost their parents. 

In the view of the inconsolable plight of such students, the Vice Chancellor of AU was gratified to waive off the academic fee and 50% hostel fees for the academic session 2021-22 in respect of those students who have lost their parents due to coronavirus, the AU statement read.

However, the provision of fee waiver is not for those students who have lost a single parent, the statement added.

As per the latest reports, the facility of waiving off the academic and 50% hostel fee will be limited till June 30, 2022, or till the completion of annual/semester examination of the student concerned whichever is earlier and will be applicable for 2021-22 academic session only.
