AMU Begins UG Admissions 2022-23 Based on CUET Scores; Apply till November 2

New Delhi: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has begun the admissions process for undergraduate programmes based on CUET 2022 scores for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal @https://www.amu.ac.in/. 

The application deadline for applicants who are seeking admissions to the AMU UG courses is November 2, 2022. Candidates will be able to apply for the following courses:

• Bachelor of Arts in Hindi
• Bachelor of Arts in Sanskrit
• Bachelor of Arts in Persian 
• Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies
• Bachelor of Vocation in Polymer and Coating Technology
• Bachelor of Vocation in Production Technology
• Bachelor of Vocation in Fashion Design and Garment Technology
• Bachelor of Science in Home Science

According to the official AMU notification, the aspirants seeking admission to the UG Courses will be granted admissions through CUET 2022-23 scores. Such aspirants can visit the official website @www.amucontrollerexams.com, to fill and submit the online application form. 

The online application form is available for the following courses: 

• B.A (Hindi/Sanskrit/Persian/Women's Studies)
• B.Voc. Courses (all the 03 specialties)
• B.Sc. (Home Science)

AMU UG Admission 2022-23: Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates aspiring to take admission to AMU for any of the UG courses have to meet certain eligibility criteria:

• For admission in any of the undergraduate courses’ students must have done at least 10+2 with a minimum of 55% marks.
• Must have completed CUET 2022 with the minimum passing mark.

AMU UG Admission 2022-23: Selection Criteria 

• Candidate's selection to the undergraduate courses will be on the basis of their marks obtained in the admission test conducted by the university and on the basis of marks obtained in CUET 2022.

AMU UG Admission 2022-23: How to Apply? 

Following are the steps to apply for admission to UG courses of AMU: 

Step 1- Visit the Official website of AMU.

Step 2- Now, Register yourself on the website by filling the form with details. 

Step 3- After registering, login and enter the password generated during registration.

Step 4- Go through the form again after filling it and upload the required documents, photo, signature.

Step 5- Submit the form by paying the application fee according to the course preference. 

The AMU entrance exam 2022 counselling is concluded for most of the undergraduate courses. Now, the candidates who have a valid score in CUET 2022 are only eligible to apply for admission in the above mentioned courses before the last date.

All the concerned are requested to go through the following instructions;

• Candidates who have qualified CUET 2022 for the above mentioned courses and have opted AMU will only be able to apply.
• Candidates who have already submitted an application form of AMU on the website www.amucontrollerexams.com need not to apply again.
• The deadline to submit the online Application Form is November 2, 2022.
