Allahabad University to Conduct Final-Year Exams Online


Allahabad University has announced that it will hold the final-year students’ examinations online this year.

The Academic Council of the university made this decision during a meeting that was held on 31 August 2020. Allahabad University had already held the graduation examination for nine days before the lockdown was imposed. The remaining examinations will be given online.

The students who will be taking the online examination will have to download the question paper from the official website of the university. The examination will last a total of four hours: two hours will be allotted to write the paper, while another two hours will be given to scan and upload the answer sheets. The answer sheets will have to be uploaded to the official website of the university.

According to the Controller of Examinations, students who will be promoted will be given the mark sheet on the basis of the examinations they have already taken. The university will calculate the marks obtained in the examinations; on the basis of the average marks, the mark sheets will be issued.

The university is expected to release the examination schedule on 1 September. The final-year and final-semester examinations will be given from the second week of September onwards.
