New Delhi: Allahabad University is currently accepting applications for its B.Ed and M.Ed courses for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, allduniv.ac.in. 

Allahabad University offers its B.Ed and M.Ed programmes on the basis of an entrance examination. The exam is expected to be held in the 3rd week of July tentatively. Shortlisted candidates will then be called for the counselling process.

To be eligible for admission at Allahabad University for the B.Ed course candidates need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline. However, for the M.Ed course, a B.Ed degree is mandatory to get selected.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Ed:

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree/ master’s degree in Science/ Social Science/ Humanity or in any other equivalent exam 
• A minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam is compulsory.
• 5% relaxation will be given to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD category candidates. 

Eligibility Criteria for M.Ed:

• Student must have passed B.Ed from any recognised university of NCTE. 
• A minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying exam is essential. 
• 5% relaxation will be given to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD category candidates.

• Firstly applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the PGAT entrance examination.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for a counselling session.
